Fall 2023 Communities
Summit offers connection, encouragement, and shared learning designed for those with similar interests or leadership roles. Our fall 2023 communities include adult formation, children’s ministry, Hispanic ministry, missions, preaching ministry, and small church ministry. There will also be a general interest community that will examine Jesus’s journey to Jerusalem in the second half of Luke’s gospel.

Worship & Keynote Speakers
In addition to spending time in the smaller ministry communities, participants will come together to worship and hear from keynote speakers on this year’s theme of Holy Discomfort: Our Journey toward God. This includes Anchor Point, our large gathering on Thursday evening.

Vision
Through continued listening and discernment, we’re hearing that today’s Christian leaders crave opportunities to gather with others who serve in similar capacities, to share best practices, to workshop ministry challenges, to learn from people with differing backgrounds, to encourage one another, and to forge relationships that extend beyond the bounds of a conference schedule. With strategic shifts over the past year-and-a-half, we believe Summit is uniquely positioned to respond to these needs. Learn more about our vision.

Meet Our Director
We are thrilled to have Jennifer Schroeder on our team as the Summit director. Prior to coming to ACU, she served in congregational ministry for close to two decades, in addition to being an accomplished musician, teacher, and scholar. Read more about her transition.

History
Take a walk down memory lane through the numerous forms this gathering has taken throughout its rich history – beginning with the inaugural Special Lecture Series in January 1907.
