Equipping for Ministry

Connecting with church leaders and other Christ-followers through regional gatherings.

One of the services we offer to church leaders, Equipping for Ministry (EFM) creates space for table fellowship among local leaders and offers practical resources and conversation for ministry. As we visit several cities each year, EFM also provides us with the opportunity to build new and ongoing relationships with churches in these areas, which is invaluable to us as we strive to serve and equip the church.

WHO SHOULD COME?

We design these gatherings for ministers, elders, and other church leaders. However, we welcome all Christ-followers interested in vibrant churches and healthy church life.

THE EFM Experience

At each EFM event, we gather at a local church or restaurant, serve a meal, and bring in a speaker from ACU’s faculty or another thought leader who speaks into topics that matter to church leaders today. Often we provide books or other resources as well. Participants enjoy networking with other church leaders in their area, and we hope they leave with full hearts, minds, and stomachs!

Ann Bayliss

At the Houston Equipping for Ministry breakfast, I am welcomed to the table to take part in mutual Christian community building. I love meeting up with friends and sharing ministry ideas over coffee. During breakfast, we receive insights from experienced ministers of the word. This ministry expresses all the hallmarks of the hospitality of Christ. Every minister, including me, comes to the table to walk away filled.
