UPCOMING Oct. 1, 2026: Christian Faith and Interfaith Chaplaincy
/Chaplains work with people from a wide variety of faith backgrounds. We minister to people representing many different world religions and no religion at all. For a Christian chaplain, what are the theological foundations for interfaith ministry? Is there a Biblical framework that would support and guide our work? In this lunch and learn, Amy will explore interfaith chaplaincy from a Christian perspective, connecting Christian discipleship to the work we are doing. The hope is that we will leave the session with a stronger sense of the mind and heart of Jesus present in our specific vocations.

Amy Bost
Amy Bost is a chaplain based in Long Beach, California. She is a graduate of Pepperdine University, has a Master’s degree from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from New York Theological Seminary, which she completed while serving as minister to the Manhattan Church of Christ in New York City. She spent the first part of her ministry in hospital chaplaincy and has been in congregational ministry since the early 2000s. Amy is one of the leaders of the Community of Women Ministers, a group that provides support and friendship for Church of Christ women pursuing vocational ministry.
