Introducing Caroline Casey

We are pleased to announce that Caroline Casey has joined the Siburt Institute team as our new online content manager.

We have a new Online Content Manager in the Siburt Institute! Caroline Casey has joined our team, and in this role, she will play an integral part in multiple aspects of our work. As many organizations know, having an up-to-date, informative, and helpful online presence is a crucial part of any kind of communication in the current day. Caroline will maintain our website and lead the work of managing the content contained therein, from our downloadable resources to our event pages to the various tools that our website houses. She will also be in charge of our social media channels—Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube—thus helping us stay connected with you across many platforms. Caroline will produce our podcasts and will manage our Mosaic blog, where she will interface with authors; in both of these cases, she will ensure that the technology delivers our interviewees’ and authors’ ideas to you. Be on the lookout for all of these!

Caroline is a lifelong Abilenian, entrepreneur, writer, and social media director with nearly two decades of experience building creative businesses and nurturing online communities through empathy and meaningful storytelling. During her career, she’s built blogs and social platforms that have reached more than one million people, served as a keynote speaker at ACU’s Griggs Center for Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy, worked with Joanna Gaines, and written for The Magnolia Journal.

Her faith is deeply woven into her life, and she’s thrilled to use her skills for a higher purpose at the Siburt Institute. She wholeheartedly believes in supporting and strengthening those who pour out to others, and is excited to be part of an organization that does exactly that. Caroline is active at her church home, Highland Church of Christ, and some of her favorite growing-up memories were the praise nights at Highland with Sarah Lynn in the early 2000s.

More than anything, Caroline loves her family and friends. One of her most cherished life roles is being super-aunt to her seven nephews. From water balloons to rollerblades, she loves to make ordinary days fun and memorable for them. When she’s not working, you’d likely find her outdoors – swimming, gardening, skating, or paddleboarding. She’s also a certified yoga instructor, loves reading historical fiction, and is always immersed in a creative project, like painting or ceramics.

With Caroline’s expertise, passion, and background, we are excited to have her as a part of our team!
